6-1 from 12-1, I wish I could put my bets in when it was 12-1.... to bad I live in this little state called Texas where Gambling is illegal haha.

There goes my plan of getting rich for life off the Seahawks this year. Damn. I don't feel quite that bed because I wouldn't have been able to place a bet til around May but damn. That was quick!

I was just about to make a post about this. I am literally on a plane flying home from Vegas. I flew in to Vegas last night to make some investments on Seattle. Due to my late arrival and early departure I was only able to check out three Sportsbooks. The Tropicana and the Palms each had Seattle at 10-1 and 5-1 to win the Conference. The Orleans had Seattle at 10-1 to win it all.

That line movement has to be 90%Sharp money because Seattle has never been a public side, although that will change. Soon.

I got 16-1. Still reeling from my 90-1 this season not coming in.

There's still £44 available at 14/1 on Betfair, for any of you non-US based punters. Given the state of the AFC 20/1 on the Ravens looks good too if the Seahawks happen to fluff their lines.

I am always leery of letting my money sit in an offshore book for 10 months given the industry's volatility.

Betfair's probably the safest one for 2 reasons. Firstly, it's German. Secondly, there is no bookmaker to go bust. Punters bet against each other rather than betting against the house.

I can't, I've been burned! I hope the team chemistry stays the same, while I hope our deficiencies are addressed with each of the first three rounds of the draft. But my reptilian brain cannot overcome the emotional lows of 2006 like expectations. 2006 was a helluva year but not making it to the superbowl when you expect to sucks.

What a freagin sweet game we took to the bears though after that horrid beatdown they gave us earlier that year!
