gonna check them, I gotta say Sigh's album was the best I have heard by a long long shot this year. Quite possibly one of the grooviest songs I have ever heard
Nobody else liked the new van halen album? It had a few bad songs but a lot of their albums did too. But songs like blood and fire, you and your blues, stay frosty, the trouble with never and she's the woman I would put on a list of some of their best stuff.
I hope they are able make more albums.

I like to think of myself as having an ear for all sorts of music, but I could not listen to more than the first 35 seconds of this song, due to the unbearable vocals.

Little too much funk in there for my tastes, but you can tell they're pretty damn technically proficient.
My early favorite for album of 2013 is:
Cult of Luna - Vertikal
And I'm really looking forward to the album from Palms that's reportedly going to be released in June. Palms = 3 members from Isis with Chino Moreno handling vocal duties.

Yeah the album blew me away as I was expecting more first wave black metal with a quirk, but this is total left field strangeness ala Mr Bungle.
Palms sounds like fun, the new Tomahawk is rocking my 2013 so far.
