Your team is only as good as you are when you need to win.

that one probably hurts a bit more for him, he's damn near done with his career.. that might have been his last chance at a ring, and he know's it. but you still need to stay classy and except defeat.

Haha Frank Gore. You were down the whole game, got blown out for the first half, and couldn't score when you needed to- in crunch time with the game on the line. That to me does not signify being the better team that day. But keep thinking that.... maybe Harbaugh can order up some invisible Super Bowl rings to give you guys too.

Usually the 'better team' will hold the lead at some point in the game.

Talk about a team taking on the character of its coach. Staggeringly ungracious. Until the mysterious blackout, Niners didn't even look like a playoff caliber team, let alone a Super Bowl champion.

If I was getting as old as him, I'd be bumed out too...but that's how the NFL is sometimes. They're lucky Flacco didn't drop 50 on this ass.
Take it like a pro.

That's consistent with comments he used to make about the Hawks. He used to say he "didn't see nuthin that great" about us...even back in 2005. Nothing but classless scumbaggery cuming from him.

Isn't this typical behavior from a Hurricane?

I will agree with his overall comment about a few plays decides things. The thing is those plays for the most part went in the 49ers FAVOR or they would have been blown out of the game.
First Ravens possesion after the 49ers first TD -- Flacco passes to Boldin hits him in the hands hard. Not sure if a drop / just hard to get doesn't matter it is so damn close to being a completion for about 15 yards. That turned into a punt from the 5 yard line which practically gave the 49ers their second TD
Talk about a game of inches
Later Rice on 3rd down is inches short and Ravens have to punt instead of taking minutes more off the clock and continuing a drive when they looked like they were rebounding.
Those were huge plays in the game but not many will recall them. So Gore should look at the tape and realize how lucky they were to be in it not unlucky to loose

Gore can suck it, he's got the personality and intellegence of a fence post... most of his 110 yards came on like two big runs that he managed to get the corner on, the Ravens stoned his ass for most of the game... it was clearly their strategy to shut Gore and the run down and make an inexperianced Krap beat them... it worked. A couple of gifts via a bad punt and a turn-over deep in Raven territory helped make it close at the end but in the end the better team made the plays to win.
