He was in camp last year.
Got it off of Ourlads ... I'm sure other outlets will have it soon.
Interested to see if Hauschka re-signs.

I interpret this as Pete staying true to his "always compete" mantra. He wants even the specialists to feel like they have to earn their job every season.

..except for Jon Ryan. He gets a "competition-free pass" and deservedly so.

I'm guessing we'd have to know what kind of contract he signed, but I'd assume he's just being brought in for competition/insurance.
I like Hauschka, but I really find myself longing for a guy who can boot 'em with distance like Zuerlein

Ryan STUNK in the playoffs, when it mattered the most, he sucked.

I knew that name sounded familiar. Not a bad summer job for Wiggs. Gets to hang out with NFL players, make a few bucks, and then look for a real job in the fall.

I hear ya; I thought one time was an abberation, but the bad punts kept happening. Both games. He's gotta figure this out or he's gone.

I have to think it was just a fluke, 'cause he's been so money every other time. I hope it is...

I remember reading up on him last year when he was brought in, he has got a huge leg, just needs to become more accurate.

You know your team is good when Jon Ryan is the weakest link

Want a reminder that it's the offseason? RANDOM KICKER YOUTUBE VIDEO TIME!
That's pretty damn impressive! If he's worked on his apparent accuracy issues, we might have that monster leg that would give us the luxury of attempting some 50+ yarders. I love Hauschka's consistency but I'd love it if Wiggs could step up and legitimately challenge him in camp. I think the team thinks he has a chance, hence them bringing him in for a look when Hausch went down after the WAS game and now signing him heading into the offseason.
