With Wash gone, I'd expect Jethro Franklin to he the first call Carroll makes. Bryant Young could be in the mix too. #Seahawks

Don't know if either Defensive coaches leaving for Jacksonville is a smart career move, at least right now...being so close to making a run for a trophy and all, just my two cents on that. But, you can't blame a guy for reaching the pinnacle of the football coaching world. It'll be an experience regardless of what happens, best of luck to both of them!

That is shallow analysis. IIRC, Spags wasn't on the field for any of those 500 points. Matt Hasselbeck and Alex Smith both killed that defense in the playoffs, it has been suspect for a lot longer than last year.
What about when he was DC in New York and shut down Tom Brady in the SB? What about the D-line he built in St.Louis?
