Should be a very accurate projection show the hawks get two 7th round for the loss of Bigby and Whitehurst.

Addition by subtraction. I can dig it.

Wouldn't that give us something obscene like five seventh-round picks?

Apparently, Frank Omiyale (cut by CHI before SEA signed him), Deuce Lutui (didn't make the team), and Barrett Ruud (signed for veteran minimum) don't qualify into the formula. Looks like we may actually get those two comp picks. Although since we're not the Cowboys, I'm sure the NFL will find a way to screw us out of one of them.

1: 25 : 25
2: 26 : 58
3: 25 : 85
4: 3 : 99 (From Raiders, Aaron Curry depending on his playing time Seattle will get 4th or 5th)
4 : 26 : 122
5 : 5 : 133 (From Raiders, Aaron Curry depending on his playing time Seattle will get 4th or 5th round)
5 : 25 : 153
6 : 26 : 186
7 : 8 : 200 (From Buffalo, T. Jack, If T.Jack is activated for 6+ games its a 6th round, if not 7th round)
7 : 14 : 206 (From New Orleans, Barret Rudd, Pick is undisclosed but reports say it will be a 7th round)
7 : 25 : 217

How many games was T.Jack activated because i believe that list is wrong.

So is that 12 now?

Wow. JS could do some wheeling and dealing this year. :)

i think we could use our 3rd and 4th to move up in the 1st or 2nd and we still have Flynn who could be worth a 3rd-5th. I could see a team in the early 2nd who did get their QB swapping up 2nd's and they get Flynn.

This is the outcome I'm hoping for.

Anybody know how long Curry was activated with the Raiders? I thought he played in at least 10 games last year.

Huh? There was no whitehurst trade. A compensatory pick is giving for losing a player through FA.

To sutz, yes if this is accurate the Hawks would have 12 draft picks.

we all know that we are pretty much 2-3 strong picks away from being Superbowl bound.

why not just trade up major time and get like 2 first rounders and a few second rounders?

Higher chances of getting those 2-3 players with 12 picks. The draft isn't like FA where you pay a premium price for premium players. It's more like the lottery and we want as many tickets as we can get.

Definitely don't have the ammo to do anything close to that

Last season, Curry was on the PUP. He got off and played a few games before being released. I remember him having a couple of horrible personal fouls in the Ravens game. That may have been his last game but my memory is foggy.

Really? Cause we swapped 2nd round picks AND gave SD our 3rd round pick in 2010 to get Whitehurst. John and Pete have made some great deals and picks, but this ain't one of them.

I think a box of Onions would have been more than fair compensation for Clipboard Jesus. Shoot, this team can actually turn 7th round picks into contributors.
