This is such a non-issue. He posted the stats in response to incessant goading about him not being as good as Revis. The air heads and homers were talking baseless sh*t. All Sherman did was post the facts. Y'all could make a more informed judgement, by at least doing some homework rather than reading rhetoric that was clearly biased.

Spot on BFS. I am glad that Sherm is a Hawk because he can flat out ball. If he played for the Whiners, he would hands down be the most hated player in the NFL by people on this board in my opinion!

Fans are never the best people to ask whether certain players in the NFL are classy or an ass unless there's actual evidence I suppose. Not saying Sherman is a bad person he is one of the best CBs in the game so he should be a little full of himself. Although seeing some of the comments have been made about Colin Kaepernick it does show hypocrisy amongst fans.

Fans look for anything to praise or destroy a player they love or hate. I mean look at the Kaepernick thread created. Fans have been calling him some harsh names just because he trademarked the maneuver where he kisses his biceps? How is that worse than some of the things Sherman tends to say before and after games either as an arrogant ass or as he once put a "bully who got bullied." I'm not bashing Sherman per say because I like the dude, and think like everyone else here that he's great, but I mean if Revis done this or a 49er done this to another player on the seahawks would you be happy about it? I think Sherman needs to tone down his words unless he goes out there and has a monster game which I'm sure he'll have one again.

I can't believe the negativity coming from fans. You're mad at him because he's excited to ball and he's worked his ass off so no one is better than him?

I want our CBs to get in the WR/QBs head. I want them to take a split second to spot where Sherm is on the field.

He's not talking about someone's mom or family... he's talking football. He's saying, come beat me. Let's build it up and make it happen on the field. He doesn't fight people, he doesn't bring people down, he props himself up and proves it on Sunday.

It's gross that so many fans on here are against that. I guess we can always bring back Kelly Jennings, he was 'dignified'.

Most of what I said I was praising Sherman for goodness sake I have a little problem with his attitude, not his play, but even then I'm not entirely against his cocky personality. I was talking about fans hypocrisy about how they can't see past their own hatred most of the time of an opposing team or player unless that player join their own ball club.

The two things aren't exclusive. There are plenty of players who are the best at their position in the league that aren't so damn obnoxious. I love the guy, but he needs to tone it down.

Social media seems to have something to do with it.

I'm not a niners fan, but they have things I like about them.

I'm not a Seahawk fan either, but I do like things about them. They're a young aggressive team, and I'm a big fan of Marshawn Lynch and his style of running which I could strangely watch forever since I think he's easily a top 3 back in the league.

When was the last time we had a player who walked around with such an enormous vibrato?

Seriously? Were constantly complaining we dont get respect. Sherman is demanding respect, and deserves it. He's the best CB in the NFL right now. This team isnt "finesse" or "nice" anymore.. If thats what your lookin for, go be a jags fan.

I think this is the best defense of Sherman. Put it succinctly Seahawks weren't getting a lot of respect even though they were a difficult team to beat for a good while. Once Sherman started talking to Brady after the game people started to notice a bit more, and he's one of the reasons why the Seahawks are getting more respect now, and his loudmouth does make people notice him more and the team also.

Sherman can be a bit of a jerk, but the guy can play and can back up any trash talking he does.

You can have the meanest guard dog on the block to protect your home. You pat him on the head when he fights off intruders, but don't call him a bad dog for using his bark to get inside the head of future intruders and make them second guess if they wanna set foot on your land.
