This is nothing new. They've been spewing hate and propaganda for decades. The American public writes them off as cartooney because they're such a poor country that they can't light their cities after dark without diverting energy from their military, but any country with priorities that far out of whack certainly needs to be taken seriously.

All it takes is one time, getting lucky, buying the technology or missle somewhere whatever. They score one hit and they win, they are taken seriously and everyone is then taking sides. We have no choice but retaliate.

Like I said it takes just one, Iran giving them technology or equipment? Iran would not care since they would know the next step, China would be hard pressed not to defend that area since with any retaliation it would spill over to them.

China and Japan need to police their own areas. We police enough already, but if those silly N.Korean beauraucrats want to ramp up a nuke fest, they might want to try a different dance partner.

Here's a three-part series on North Korea, by the guys of VICE Travel. They actually got into North Korea in 2008 to do a documentary, or at least as much of one as they could. I highly recommend watching. It's CREEPY. Also, FUCKBALLS CRAZY.

Hahaha I just seen the video, they better hope the rockets are farther along in technology than the production in the video, they're finished if not.

I'm probably way out of date with this, but I thought Japan were forbidden (by the US as part of the aftermath of WW2) from having an army in any capacity other than as peacekeepers. And good luck relying on China.

That was for 50 years following the end of WWII. I deployed to Japan right around the time that restriction was lifted, and it was pretty surreal at the time seeing a bunch of F-15 fighters with the rising sun painted on the tails! I believe they still have certain restrictions written into their constitution regarding that, but Ross would be a better source than I.
