Bleh, no "Name" coaches, go find and get the next Gus if we lose him. Small school head coach/defense guy. Big name coaches are fools gold, I want to be that team that finds the Kiffin, Cowher, Landry, Vermeil, etc first not after.

Maybe someone with a complete different style to mesh with Pete's, possibly someone like Ray Horton & all his crazy blitz ideas or someonevwith a d-line background like rod marinelli? Know frow personal experience, sometimes a new perspective can help

Come to think of it since RW has free time when the defense is on the field I think he should be the new DC........

nope was TE coach 01-03 and OC 04-06. I'd take him as OC is Bevell leaves, I'd like to get Zorn back he only a QB coach in KC and wouldn't be surprised if Reid brings his on with him and Zorn is looking for a job.

i would be happy with just one darn Dc who knows how to play with a lead and 30 seconds left on the clock. That Atlanta game was not the first time the DC called a pathetic scheme.

I want someone that can scheme for the read option and or pistol going forward, we will need someone that can forward think and not relie on the past as much. Why I like Petes involvement, he doesn't do things in a conventional way.

It will be a part of the offense teams use for a few years now and based on success rates more people are going to try in with mobile QB's till someone can shut it down cold. Might as well be us with S.F. in the division and we have yet to see what Arizona does.

That would suggest somebody from the college ranks. How about Justin Wilcox? Or if you're looking for somebody with NFL experience, Vic Fangio who is the d. coordinator at Stanford and has beeen an NFL d. coordinator in the past.

**edit** nevermind, im' an idiot. Fangio is the d coordinator for the 49ers. The Stanford article i was looking at was from 2010.

My guess is Pete would elevate from within...most likely Todd Wash.

I want PC to groom an internal one. He is all about defense and obviously knows what he is doing.

I say he just turns the offense over to Russell and then let PC give input. Lol.

Also.. I am not on Bradley for the last 30 seconds of that game. I would say that it was a 50-50 chance and that the next time something like that happens that the Hawks don't give up those yards. I would not mind keeping Bradley.

But they should have sent 6 and kept the gains shorter and possibly incomplete, with a sack.

It funny you say that given we blitzed on both plays in the last 31 seconds.

yes, but i think everyone is referring to how we play soft man zone, in both plays no one is within 5 yards of both receivers.

I dont understand, when you have the best man coverage in the NFL yet you run a soft zone coverage where you have been mediocre at best all year. You should be running your best defensive scheme (man coverage) when the game is on the line.

Per Kevin O'Connell (member of SDSU Broadcast Team, XTRA Sports 1360 radio), Bradley accepted the Eagles HC job.

Hmmm...I was just watching Schefter on ESPN and the only job offered at that point was to McCoy down in SD, but he also said Bradley and Bevell were doing their 2nd interviews. Also, the Jets are after out cap specialist.
