  • Now I have gotten baseball jerseys before, but this will be my first ever seahawk one from nike. Is it worth it getting the jersey that is 250 or should I stick with the one that is 100.

I was thinking of getting a Russel Wilson Jersey. He will be our qb for the next 10 years and give us a shot at the super bowl every season.

Love the Hawks and while I do not post most of the time. I just wanted to get your opinion on what jersey to get.

  • I just got an Authentic jersey and wore it for the game yesterday for the first time. It's beautiful. If you can afford it, go with the authentic. Top quality.

  • I haven't gotten to see any of the elite/authentics yet, but I can tell you that the Nike game jerseys are far superior to the bottom-line Reebok versions. No complaints here.

  • The limited's are pretty good and half the price of the "elites". Can't tell the difference except $150 in price.

  • Maybe not surprising, but nflshop.com has been sold out of most of the Limited and Elite jerseys for a while now. I ordered a custom Elite to "make" an RW one for $300.... I'm disheartened that it hasn't arrived yet and the season is over. On the bright side though... there'll be plenty more seasons for that, I'm sure!

  • I have a Limited. It is what I wanted, which is stitched-on numbers. I recommend getting a Limited.

Question for the people with Elites: on my Limited, there is one piece of fabric for the number - it is green around the edges and pattern in the middle, but just one piece of fabric. Compare that to my "Premiere" Reebok, which was cheaper, and it had two pieces of fabric for the number trim and the number itself. On the Elite Nike jersey, is the green trim around the number a separate piece of fabric? This will help me decide whether my second Nike jersey will be Elite or Limited.

The limiteds are worth the extra $35. Sewn on numbers/letters vs screened on numbers/letters, give me the former everyday. Or you can go the cheap knockoff route!

  • Thanks for the input so far keep it coming.

As far as nfl pro shop I have been waiting for a size s in adult and it never shows. At least for the Russel Wilson Jersey. I still have not decided on which to get, can afford both, but of course the more expensive one hurts the checkbook more.

  • I purchased an authentic top of the line nike jersery customized to Wilson #3 from NFLSHOP.com just before Thanksgiving. It hurt the pocket book but it is worth every penny. It's a beautiful jersey and top tier as far as quality goes.

  • I don't know which version is called what, but I have a $100 Tate and a $100 Chancellor, and I think they're both great, high quality stuff. I got my dad a $100 Wilson and he loves it.

If you want to get the more expensive one, by all means go for it, but you won't be disappointed with the cheaper one.

  • Got the $100 one as a Christmas gift. Much better quality than the bottom-tiered Reebok version. The major difference (besides the fit), is that with the Reebok, the majority of the fabric had the little diamond shaped holes. With the Nike version, you only have that type of fabric on the sides. It's completely solid on the front and back.

Mind you, it's a little heavier, but also keeps ya a little warmer.

  • I have two of the game jerseys, they are much better than the Reebok replica versions. They fit smaller than the Reebok ones though. So if you normally wear a small Reebok, try the medium Nike game on for size to see how that one fits.

  • Got the deal of the century when I snagged an Elite Wilson off eBay for $90 at the start of the season! Selller got it as a gift and it was too big for him (he probably wanted a Flynn jersey). On top of that, I snagged a Sherman Game jersey before Christmas for $50! The two best Hawk jerseys of the season for $140. :)

  • The main fit issue I have found is in the shoulders, the cut in the back of the shoulders is a bit small. The rest of the jersey fit is right on size for me (a large) but it is a bit tighter if I cross my arms, than the reebok.

I love blue too problem is, its most popular and most likely to be sold out. Now on NFL proshop the size S is avaliable for the alternative jersey. Thats the only size I can fit in. White and blue are still out.

  • I own a wolf grey elite earl tomas, and a limited blue Earl Thomas. I prefer the fit of the of the limited as it fits more like a regular shirt, but it is made of polyester, so the quality of the material is not the same as the elite. The elite feels heavier and is sturdier, but it looks like it is made to be worn with shoulderpads or something.

When i ordered the elite, i wanted to return it because of the fit, but NFL shop screwed up on my bill several times and they actually let me keep the jersey for free to make it up to me. I ordered the limited jersey afterwards, and needless to say, i am happy to have both. I would definately pay the extra $30 for the limited over the game jersey however.

I would also appreciate this info.

Are they even more fitted than the $100? I'm 6-4 and about 185lbs. Issue I always have is - too big, too long. Would like a more fitted jersey. Tried a $100 jersey a few weeks ago and it was a great fit, but still too long.

When these counterfeit shops use stock photos taken from legit sites, the easiest way to tell is to look at their "Contact Us" and "FAQ" pages. If they only have an email address as the only way to contact them, it's fake.

  • Careful with the lower-end 'game'. The customized 'Beast Mode' blue jersey I received as a gift had a non-neon green outlining the numbers. I'm not about to look a gift horse in the mouth, but I thought that was poor quality control as the outline is supposed to be as bright as the shoulder colors. Any problems like this with Limited or Elite jerseys?

  • Authentic is the way to go...but the Limited is awesome too...especially if you wear a L and above...the reason I say that is the numbers are much bigger on sizes above M. I wear a M and if the numbers were big like the larger sizes I would be happier cause it looks real close to the authentic.

Yeah, I've got a home Wilson and a road Sherman, both "Game" level.

They both look sharp and high-quality. Much better than the entry-level stuff Reebok trotted out.

I'd love to get a look at a "Limited" though. I was hoping maybe to get a customized Limited in Wolf Grey at some point.

You think the customization process dulled the number outline? I guess, since they probably start with an entirely blank jersey.

They both look sharp and high-quality. Much better than the entry-level stuff Reebok trotted out.

I'd love to get a look at a "Limited" though. I was hoping maybe to get a customized Limited in Wolf Grey at some point.

I've got both a Game and Elite but I have tried on the Limited. It's easily worth the extra $35 because the numbers are stiched on unlike the Game. Honestly, a guy couldn't go wrong with any one of the choices.

I was thinking of getting a Russel Wilson Jersey. He will be our qb for the next 10 years and give us a shot at the super bowl every season.

Love the Hawks and while I do not post most of the time. I just wanted to get your opinion on what jersey to get.

Looks like the Game Wilson is available.

Got Sherman Game jersey from them. Quick delivery and I'm in Colorado.

It does not come in my size. I am a smaller guy look as great as everyone but with less curves.

  • I have been getting jerseys for a couple of years on a site younfl.org It is overseas. the jerseys are AWESOME stitched lettering, great quality. You can not tell the difference. Here is the best part...I bought a Thomas Jersey this fall for $28.99 plus shipping (25.00). I have bought numerous jerseys there. Check it out... It beats paying NFL.org prices for teh same jersey
