Yeah, we all want a better d-line. Show me a team that doesn't? It's not like they haven't tried every year, but you don't simply go to the bus stop and find a pass rush specialist.

Pass rush vs. Bevell having to go.

Gus Bradley used to be the scapegoat. Now it is Bevell.

Naw, they've tried the cheap way. Has-been free agents trying to find a home and 6th/7th-round draft picks. We need an elite defensive lineman. I'm not talking about a pass-rusher.

D-line is also home of big-time top-end draft busts. Sure, we haven't gone that route, yet. But nothing is automatic. For every Ndamukong Suh there's a "Big Daddy" Wilkinson ready to disappear.

You can say that about pretty much every position. We have to try. Where else are we going to get one? You think the Lions are going to let Suh hit the market while he's still in his prime? Lol.

Maybe we're just talking past each other. All I'm saying is that the DL is the one spot where a high draft pick probably guarantees less than any other position, except for quarterback. I agree we need a better line. Sure, let's try, and I'm sure the team will try. But it's sort of like saying, we need a Super Bowl win.

Obviously the pass rush, but what of the Offensive line? IMHO we need a good guard (is Moffit gonna be the guy?), and we need to replace the right Tackle, I mean the big ugly guy who wears 68. I know his name, I just have no idea how to spell it, and he sucks so...

Russel has had to run for his life WAAAAAY too much... He's done is smashingly, but that's not the point, he shouldn't have to so much.

There will be debates about uniforms, even if they cannot be replaced for another 4 years. There will be discussions about intro music. As players are cut from other teams our GMs will offer some pickup offers or trade offers. Biggie will conjure up several shocking trade scenarios. Free agency.

Tons of stuff.

Past season reviews. Should Wilson go directly to the HOF. Fascination/disdain for the 9ers will create several threads professing our hatred of them. That should get us through a week or so.

After that, I got nothing.

How about a beast OLB that can also rush the passer to serve as Leroy's heir?

This would be MY first order of buisness also.
With Russell Wilson, WE have a rare and gifted player, and THAT should be the number one focus of the offseason.
If Wilson is our biggest asset, (and I believe he is), you have to do everything in your power to protect him,,The more time he has to scramble, the less time he'll have to find his targets.
Our Defense isn't really all that far away from being in the top 6, and I trust that IF there are some jewels in this draft, Schneider will find them.
