Beat out Edwards, Maybin and LaBoy. It is a little funny.

Love the move because of this!

Hasn't played in 2 years?

@RapSheet: The #Seahawks will sign Patrick Chukwurah, who led the UFL in sacks 2 year in a row, to fill Clemons' shoes. Last played in Dec, 2008

All I can say to this is weve said WTF before only to be made believers with Carroll and Schneider.

Short week, will he be even active? If he is he has one purpose, beat up Ryan. I see another disrespected player that wants to leave one lasting mark on his career, at 33 his playing days are most likely done full season, but given a resurrection and a chance to be one of those players that come from nowhere to be a star in the playoffs and then a trivia question isn't a bad thing.

Heard he play for Bradley in 2008. 33 yrs old is surprising. They may as well have signed Raheem Brock. Hope the dude is in good shape.

So, on the surface, the signing of Chukurah looks random, but in reality, it's extremely calculated.

Chukurah played in Tampa in 07 and 08, for Monte Kiffin and....Seahawks DC Gus Bradley.

I won't even think about questioning PC and Schneider. They know a heck of a lot more about football than any of us. How many times have we said "who?" to a pick up, or a draft pick by these guys, that has panned out big time?? Nuff said

This may be as simple as "who is in game shape" or "who can speed rush". Obviously not a long-term solution, but if he can play the system on Sunday - all is well.

Chukwurah was a special-teams standout, pass-rush specialist and is 250 pounds with less than 5 percent body fat.

I think it's because of the uniform he wore in the UFL, take some of that Blue and a little off the black and it's clsoe to our blue, they have the Green already
