  • I would love to have gotten him. Guy has a motor that is at 110% at all times. Not many players in the league can just take over the reigns from Mario Williams and play better than he did, especially in a different defensive alignment.

  • Watt didn't exactly face all world offensive lines this season. At any rate, 20.5 sacks for anyone is impressive, especially a 3-4 defensive end.

  • Reminds me of a guy that was once a Seahawk. Patrick Kerney. Fast, strong, 100% motor, and when he gets going look out. Gastineau was that kind of player too. He was a sack machine and would just get on a roll and dominate. Mario Williams was a great player, but I think people underestimate the defensive wizard that is Wade Phillips. They knew they were letting Mario go unless he wanted to make average money. Smart move all around.

  • Watt is beast. The number of knocked down passes almost impresses me more than the sacks.
