to go 8-0 at home this season.

Also of note, of the teams hosting a playoff game, the Redskins have the worst home record at 5-3.

Agreed. Just stating a happy fact.

However, also of note, a fact that DOES have to do with this game, the Redskins defense has given up 143 more points (8.93 per game) than did the Seahawks defense. Just another happy fact. Such an easy fact, even a Caveman like you can understand that.

Exactly, we were 3-5 on the road, with 2 of those wins going against the Bills and Carolina, not exactly a lot to brag about. We need to play our best game of the year on Sunday, it's the playoffs.

Our home record has nothing to do with this game.

You sound like an awesome guy to party with.

Atlanta lost at home? huh.

I woulda sworn the falcons were also undefeated at home....

Yup, lost to Tampa in the dirty bird stadium to end the year.

Holy crap we need to win this game on Sunday. This random thought brought to you by captain obvious

Pretty sure you owe Kearly some money now.

Hows this for a fun fact? We only lost one game to a team with a winning record (the Niners)

Redskins have won 5 of last 6 at home and 5 in a row at home. Last home lost was Nov 11th.

and the skins road record was 5-3....hmmm

True, but we didn't get to play the Cowboys and Eagles on the road.

You get to play the Rams and the Cardinals lol.

C'mon, everyone knows Divisional games are tough. Thats why the lowly Rams, and they are lowly, took you to the wire.

the point was your home record means nothing in the playoffs...at all - hang your hat on your 'golden' undefeated home record. make it to the SB on the road, that means more.

7-8-1 is not a lowly record, lol.

If you want to compare schedules and stuff...I know this was early in the season, but we have three common opponents (2 with common sites) that are within a couple of weeks of each other:

Redskins (28) @ St Louis (31) September 16th
Seahawks (13) @ St Louse (19) September 30th
(Both lost away)

Redskins (38) vs. Vikings (26) October 14th
Seahawks (30) vs. Vikings (20) November 4th
(Both won at home)

Carolina we played away (and won) and the Redskins played at home (and lost.)

What does all this mean? NOTHING!!

Washington lost to the lowly Rams. They scored 31 on WAS. In two games against Seattle, they scored 32.

The "5 of last 6" would be redundant if they in fact won their last 5. They actually won their last 4 in a row at home.
