looks like we're going 8-0 again next year at home; let's hope we're better on the road

I don't have a problem with this - if we are as good as we think we are, then it shouldn't matter who we play, when we play, where we play.

Just the luck of the draw.. the opponents are drawn up years in advance. The only ones that aren't known in any given years are the ones that are determined by how you fare during the previous year.

The league isn't out to get us.

Also I'm willing to bet at least 2 (probably more than that) of the teams on our schedule will be far worse than they were in 2012.. and a few will be better.

The NFL changes so frequently year to year that you cannot look at a list of teams and go "yep, our schedule is brutal.." or "wow look how easy their schedule is!"

so much of this.

NFL has to many turnaround teams each year. You can never know if you have an easy schedule till the end of the year when its all over.

Denver had one of the hardest SOS going into preseason. They currently hold the 4th easiest schedule this season. Thats what happens.

It has to do with the NFL's decision a few years ago to limit the number of trips East Coast teams have to make out west. San Fran and Seattle will always have the opposite schedules in the divisions the NFC West plays (The NFC & AFC South next year). The same holds true for Oakland and San Diego in the AFC West.
