Wow... that is just wrong. Sherman is the best corner I have seen in a long time and I love watching him make play after play just dominating receivers. I suppose people just voted for the personal favorites and not for obvious football game changing talent. They may have figured he was going to be suspended for the adderol thing anyway so why waste a vote. I still can't imagine who I would rather have on my team than Sherm.

Sherm if you ever read this, the Seattle fans don't need to see pro bowl results to know how well you are playing. We love ya Bro! (in a man crush kind of way of course). I think the networks will be buzzing with this huge snub of Sherman tonight (even Warren Sapp just said he thought Sherm was deserving).

and Congrats to the other Hawks who made it. Go Hawks!

No argument here. Like I said, I want him to get paid, I just don't want a hostage situation. It is without question a rediculous snub and further proof of how un-necessary the game is. I live in Honolulu. I've watched the seats become increasingly available over the past several years. If you're a glutton for bad football, tune in and you'll see more empty seats than those full. With any imagination, you could attend free of charge. This game will soon (thankfully) be a thing of the past.

I think they should just name the elite players at their respective positions, give them 6 all expense paid trips to Hawaii, where they can relax and enjoy the reward. I recall several years ago the player (RB) in a beach volleyball function. Blew his knee, never played again. I think he was an RB for NE (Edwards?)...worse, I think he may have been a rook. :(

I agree with most everything that has been said.

And especially Hawkstorian.

The universal opinion that Richard Sherman got robbed is as good as a Pro Bowl nomination in my eyes.

Besides, we all know Sherman wouldn't be playing at 50% effort in the Pro Bowl like all the other nominees do. Maybe they just didn't want to get injured.

Somebody from the NFL Network just tweeted that QBs have a lower rating against Sherman than any other CB in the league. Huge robbery, best CB in the league.

That's why the game has become increasingly dangerous. Most are playing at half speed, some are not. Anyone old enough to recall Easley planting Montana in the PB? Some snide reporter commented to Kenny "this is supposed to be a fun game". Easley replied "then they invited the wrong mofo"...or words to that effect. ;)

I know the pro blow is joke..... This will only add fuel to the FIRE for Sherman and show everyone he is an elite Corner.

Feel bad for Sherms.

Watch out for more "U MAD BRO". Sherm is P.O'd

Heard Sherman on the radio say he didn't really care about the pro bowl, but does hope/expect to be named 1st team all-pro

Sherman is just being humble about it. In his heart he knows he should have been named a starter.

Just another slap in the face. Sherm's the best CB in the game today and in the hearts of us Seahawks faithful. "Autobots, let's roll"!

I am seriously livid about this. I can't accept it. God, I hope we win the Super Bowl and he has two ints, five passes defended, and a sack in that game. Absolutely ridicule the entire world.

I think I'm going to open a bottle of wine to settle my nerves at this outrage.

Unfrickinbelievable. So how is the All-Pro decided on? Shouldn't he be a shoe-in for that?

Just opened a 2002 chianti before reading this. Total bs Sherm didn't make it. One of the best CB's in the league.

Lol!!!!! What a load.

Sherman has been beyond STUD DB. He has excelled and stood out in every way. Sherman has owned some pretty good WRs and QBs.

I am going to start writing the script now. The one that sends a vote at staggered intervals over the entire voting period using IP addresses from every location in the US that a large Aerospace company has servers.

Just to make a point.

Cos I kinda sorta think Roland was prodding me to post this here..

Quote:
Sherman was a surprise omission from the Pro Bowl roster announced Wednesday. Despite his impressive numbers, Sherman was a first alternate at cornerback for the NFC, behind the Chicago duo of Tim Jennings and Charles Tillman, and Arizona’s Patrick Peterson.

Even before the Pro Bowl rosters were announced, Sherman didn’t seem to care about getting a trip to Hawaii.

“It don’t mean nothing,” Sherman said Wednesday. “I bet you I’ll be on the first-team All-Pro. That means more to me.”
