Fortunately Drummer most of our members would want to put the commission back to .net anyway.

One big way we can help is give the link to our "non sports" friends regularly so when they purchase from Amazon the site gets credit for it. That reminds me I haven't refreshed my friends about that for several months.

Not really, it's all dependant on clicking on the link. Only way to automatically populate it is to bookmark the URL instead of the normal amazon.com url.

  • Just wondering, is it ok if I share that link with people who have nothing to do with .net? Say I have a couple non .net related friends, and they shop at amazon ALOT. There's no problem with me askin if they wouldnt mind helpin out by using the link?

Probably a silly question but I had to ask first.

Yes, I have a huge problem with accepting money from non-Seahawk fans. :sarcasm_off:

Not at all, in fact I heartily approve of this! Anyone using our link to buy helps to pay the ever-increasing costs of hosting this hive of demonspawn another week.

  • Can I ask if the link is set up so as to recognise UK orders? I have been using the link, then when it takes me to amazon.com, then it recognises that I am shopping from the UK and gives me a link to the UK site. I go throught this link and buy stuff. Just wondering if you still get your kick-back if I do this.

If you used the link to purchase your Kindle books through the website on a computer and not on your Kindle or Kindle Reader app, it should work. Pure speculation on my part of course.

Does this apply to everything on Amazon, including Instant Video? I cut the cord on cable TV with my recent move to the Greenwood area and have been running off Amazon Instant for certain shows. That'll be a few bucks each week or so from me year round besides actual purchases.

Completely depends upon the item(s) purchased. Amazon products like Kindles get as much as 3%, while standard merch usually get around 1%. And yes, you should be happy regardless of amounts. It all helps.

That's a big deal in months like December, where y'all did an awesome job of holiday shopping using the link. Looks like we'll get as much as $175 for just that month, which is unbelievable!
