Does the Mayan calendar actually end there?

I was going to say an hour after the world ends, but Aros stole my thunder.

  • I noticed he didn't practice today. (non-injury)
Don't know if this is good or bad. Probably the latter. Damnit.

  • I wouldn't worry about it. They're not going to give him a running start at a suspension. (He might get suspended, but I don't think not practicing today has anything to do with it.)

  • Does he have to travel somewhere for the hearing? If so, that's probably why he was out today.

  • The NFL would allow him to play since it considers there's not enough time left in the week to account for roster spots adjusting. A fair rule by the NFL. Fingers crossed.

Yes he has to travel to NY, to the head office for the appeal hearing. That's the non football reason he missed practice as well.

  • Well, maybe better to get the 5th seed then, if they decide to suspend him, it'll come down Monday or Tuesday, since it's mostlikely next business day.

So, we'll have him back for the superbowl ?

  • Let's start a poll.

Which would you rather NOT happen:
    1. Sherman is suspended
    2. The world ends

(I'm just kidding. No poll needed. #1 is the only reasonable option.)

Yup, assuming we don't have a bye, we would have Sherman back for the Superbowl (there's a silver lining to not winning the division, I guess).

  • Ugh! Flying to and from NYC for the hearing in this short window of time and this close to a huge game is gonna take a toll on Sherman mentally and physically.

I have spoken with the soothsayers and contacted many divine sources whom are all very credible.

Would you care to divulge your source?

Sherman facing his old college coach in the Seahawks biggest game of Sherm's NFL career? Nope--he's going to be ready to BALL!

  • As is Doug Baldwin, who obviously has reason to be fired up vs. his college coach who didn't even think he was good enough to draft. Nothing would be better than seeing Sherm get a pick and rubbing it in Hairball's fat face. Maybe Doug Baldwin gets the winning TD and takes a look over at the birthday boy too..... Merry X-Mas Bish!
