I don't think you're even close to understanding my feelings on this thread, lol. Nothing about any religion causes me discomfort. There are a variety of other emotions, but not discomfort or being offended, if that, I can assure you. Never mind, I'm leaving the thread.

I come here to talk about football, not God. Isn't there a specific forum for stuff like this? Can we PLEASE move it there? I avoid that forum for a reason.

Here's the deal. I like you guys. I like all of you guys. I love this place. I am a NON believer, atleast in the stereotypical biblical god, and I think the "holy booK" is nonsense.
So try to think about this: You want me to respect your beliefs, but if I told you what my true beliefs are, you would NOT respect them, and so I cannot reciprocate.
I said I like you all. I want to continue liking you all and talking about seahawk football without having to discuss peoples personal beliefs and philosophys on things not related to seahawks football (in this forum).
There IS a forum for that kind of stuff, and for people like me who have alot of pent up anger towards religions, I can simply avoid that forum, and not have to deal with it.
I Hope people can understand atleast some of this, and understand why some of us don't want to deal with it, without being hostile towards us.

I'm quite bewildered why the mods haven't moved this out of the main forum yet. After all, I've seen much, much less divisive moved in a heartbeat in the past.

My brother lost his only baby girl (stillborn) and wants nothing to do with God. When I lost my Daughter, I had 'BROKEN' lights that had turned on when I mentioned her name. NOW, if only that was an isolated incedent?, I would maybe have dismissed it and moved on, but other things that have transpired in my life have left me astonished, with no answers or explanations...Coincidences?? NO DAMNED WAY!

not the mere mention of God, that gets me in a tizzy. The mere mention of god in a forum where I go strictly to discuss seahawks football. Also.... since you are obviously a believer, then I assume you have no idea what it's like to go your whole life being told you are a bad person, who is going to hell, because you think the idea of the bible being real, and Jesus being the son of god is absolutely ridiculous.
