What I meant was, just because the percentage of our tax dollars that goes towards what pehawk referred to may be very tiny, like a penny per person or some crap, when you add up 5,000 different things that all take a little here and a little there, that shit adds up. It's not just big chunks of stuff that have gotten us into debt, nor is it only "rich people's taxes" that have done it. I could have stated it better.

Everything adds up is a simple statement but true. I think there are a lot of things in our budget that are just "little things" that could be cut and no one would notice. Just because it's little doesn't mean it's not important, but just because it's little doesn't mean it's not a waste of money.

The bill is a good thing. It gives children brought here illegally by their parents access to LEGAL California identification, making them now LEGAL. Since they are now LEGAL they can work LEGALLY and now be eligible for social programs LIKE unemployment benefits. No one is getting free unemployment money and not paying into the system. I guess I just wanted to be clear that I wasn't trying to troll. I might have been a bit paranoid, you're right.

To me, its more paranoid to believe in the age of social media, a tyrannical government is going to come and get us. I just dont buy it. I know people in the military and police officers, under no circumstances do I see them coming for me. Or, ever following an order like that.

And, for the record, I've heard numerous times that I'm randomly inappropriate, loud and obnoxious in real life as well. I.e., I'm the same person on or offline. So, I'm never trolling.

Before you look at the years in which those experiments were performed, keep in mind that most of those were performed more than once (ad nauseum in the case of the final one) many years later, including into the age of social media, with the same results. Most of mankind will do as its told, as it always has. If most of the country all of a sudden stopped being religious in a short time frame, then I might be inclined to think you have a point; but no, most people are still sheeple in a variety of ways.
