Lynch 128 Turbin 108 Leon 38 Russell 12 Flynn -2 It should have been 286 yards. That said, Arizona is ranked 30th in rush defense at 140 yards per game, but that can be misleading since teams have been running the ball at them to run out the clock. The Cardinals have a very good defense, but they are probably getting worn down. They are ranked 5th overall passing defense 197 yards per game, but again, how much have teams run at them versus thrown at them. That's why I dislike yards as a metric for defense. If we instead go by points per game, AZ has averaged 22.5 ppg which is decent. SF is #1 in defense in ppg at 14.2 Seattle is #2 in ppg defense at 15.5 The only other teams below 20 ppg are Denver 19.8, Chicago 16.8, Houston 18.4, and Atlanta 19.9. Strangely the #1 ranked defense, Pittsburr allows 20.3 ppg. I think I prefer DVOA.

DVOA is much better, no arguments there.

These clown writers (etc) that want to slam us for running the score up, only need to see our rushing yards to understand it was Zona that ran the score up...against themselves.
