For some reason, I just felt like bumping this thread. Not sure why...

What a game, Flynn has made some good throws, I don't think it has changed his value at all, he had more zip than expected and more mobile but had a tipped ball or two.

Still nothing interesting about Flynn. Stared down Rice on that tipped ball then threw him into that big collision, much longer windup than Wilson, spotty deep accuracy. High-end backup, maybe worth a 6th-rounder.

Depends on how desperate a team is......look at all the teams with question marks at QB.Supply and demand.

Hahahaha, this was an awesome thread after the fact.
Had a few rusty passes, but he played well.

I thought he looked fine, especially when you consider he hasn't played for quite some time. Definitely feel we are in good hands if we need him. Not really sure why you try so hard to see the negative. He is a Seahawks you know.

Do you think putting Flynn in AND letting him throw as much as he did, was a way of "showcasing" him for possible "suitors" / trades ???

Nah, it was about making sure he's ready just in case something bad happens and Wilson gets hurt. We don't want to see it, but I'm very glad to see we played our backups with a purpose. I've always felt that you put your backups in, but you still play the way you play if you want to be successful. I want to ask the OP to please post this question every week. It seems to have worked out quite well

Not really sure why you try so hard to see the negative. He is a Seahawks you know. I think that assessment was pretty accurate. He looked pretty rusty, but not bad. Batted ball, iffy accuracy a couple of times. But he had a couple of really solid passes. I'd agree completely with the "high-end backup" assessment. He has the chance to be a starter elsewhere, if we were to trade him away, but why would we want to? Keep him for a solid backup and we're set.
