Life long Seahawk Fan. Read here every day but don't post. Going to game on Sunday. Love my Hawks, but my son plays for Cradinals. What colors to wear??? Anyone heard who is raising the flag?

Rock those Card colors man, you can be a Seahawks fan for 14 games of the year but if your son plays for the cards then that has to be your team.

Welcome!

I'd rock a Cards jersey and a Seahawks hat.

Cut a jersey in half and sew it together. Seahawks 12 in the front, your sons number and name on the back.

I am very curious as to who your son is.

And hell yeah you gotta support your son first and foremost.

Russell Wilson will raise the flag this week. ;)

J/K ...Enjoy the game and I sincerely hope your son plays well (in defeat).

And if that's you, Mr. Fitzgerald...ask your son to please request a trade. The great Northwest is where you need to be.

Or, just disown him for the weekend. :D :sarcasm_off:

It must be a very proud thing to have a son reach the highest possible stage of his chosen field.

Let's hope it's someone on the defense, and not one of the QB's.

Then again, this poster asks, this question now, which might suggest that his son just arrived on the Cardinals last year, as the Cardinals play the Hawks every year....... So it's probably a rookie or a FA.

1st Round (#13) WR Michael Floyd, Notre Dame

3rd Round (#80) CB Jamell Fleming, Oklahoma

4th Round (#112) OT Bobby Massie, Mississippi

5th Round (#151) OT/G Senio Kelemete, Washington

6th Round (#177) CB Justin Bethel, Presbyterian

6th Round (#185) QB Ryan Lindley, San Diego State

7th Round (#221) OT Nate Potter, Boise State

There's the rookies. One of those maybe? (hopefully not Lindley)

And I'm too lazy to list the FA's. JUST TELL US WHO IT IS ALREADY!

"Go Hawks!" IMO, you can hope your son plays well while still rooting for a Hawks win!

A Hawks win might end up helping the Cards anyway!

Yep, I'd go with this too.

We had that problem at our house about colleges. A son that went to WAZZU and a daughter that was a HUSKY.

And welcome to posting, now that you've started keep it coming.

Welcome to posting Mr Nash, and I agree with those saying to wear your son's jersey with pride, and top it with a Seahawks hat. Best part about that is people will ask about it, giving you ample opportunity to brag about your son!

Wear Red with your son's number and name on the jersey with pride. You may leave the game liking your fellow Seahawks fans a little less but that is their loss. At least he doesn't play for the Steelers currently.

Hope he has a long and prosperous career. I am sure you sat on many aluminum bleachers and numerous practices through the years. Jealous and happy for you.

I'm pretty sure doc was there, maybe not, but didn't we all break bread with Rolle's parents, when he played for Cards? Not sure if it was net peeps or not? Once they explained why they had Cardinals gear on, it was cool.

I'd say support your kid. Anyone who still gives you when/is you explain your situation shouldve been aborted.

Very cool and I'm sure your very proud. You could also cut two jerseys front a Seahawks sewn to the Back of a Cards so your sons name is on it and a Seahawks front.

Kinda spendy granted but a good seamstress could make it loo flawless.

I went to Dave Krieg's first game back in the Kingdome as a KC Chief. A woman had a half 'Hawk/half Chief Krieg jersey and it was cool (obviously if I STILL remember it!).

I was reading a little about Nash - UFA from a small school (Sacramento State). Easy to pull for a kid like that. Congrats and welcome, Dad!
