According to Mike Sando we're getting Chris Myers and Tim Ryan (AKA 80's Beard) for Sunday's game:
"Chris Myers, Tim Ryan and Jamie Maggio get the call for Cardinals-Seahawks in Week 14. Fox's No. 5 crew."

I'm not even sure if this warrants creating a new thread, but does anyone else find it a little odd that we've gotten this crew so many times? I'm not really complaining, I actually find myself agreeing with Ryan a lot of the time. I just can't remember any time in recent history we've gotten the same announcers this many times in a season.

Or maybe this is just a non-story and I'm looking for ways to pass the time until Sunday.

All I wanna say is that they don't really care about us.

Big fan of this crew, much better than being stuck with Brian Billick.

At least we're not the Bills who are playing Stl and get Martz. It is weird that we have the same broadcast crew 3 games in a row though.

If anyone's curious:
--They've announced 5 of our games so far, and this Sunday will be #6.

--No other crew has announced for us more than once this season.

--This Sunday will be the third week in a row for announcing our games.

Nothing will ever be worse than the Mike Martz debacle. I'd rather go down on Honey Boo Boo's mom than listen to that guy talk.

I like these guys. Seem to be clearly unbiased and calls out refs.

Yeah, I did notice they took our side a few times when the refs screwed us over.

And just to be clear here, I'm not complaining, just pointing out an anomaly.

i saw on NFLN that that lady announcer that was doing the running interview with Pete will be at the game
and they were pointing out that when she has attended our games he has had his best performances (Min, Det, Chi I think)

the power of The Tanzania is strong in her.

I love that crew, they do a good job. No slants or bias, Ryan seems to be especially even keeled. Myers doesn't overwhelm the mic and Maggio is fun to look at. I'd take them every week.

Ryan is very knowledgeable and seems to like the hawks and Pete Carroll.

They're better than 75% of the other crews out there, maybe more. I'll take it, and say thanks to Fox for it as well. It is strange, though.

This is why I've taken to calling them the Seahawks crew in the NFL viewing map thread each week. They really do a decent and fair job of broadcasting the games. They don't seem to have any agenda for either side which is very refreshing.

I like it, they are very familiar with our team and probably inform the opposing team's fans more accurately then if we got a bunch of different announcers. That is, rather then just RW good, beastmode, tall corners we get talk about back ups and reviews of KJ and Red whom are relatively unknown.

I have less gripes about this crew than the others we've had this year

I really like that crew. Ryan is football smart and calls things fairly. I have no problem listening to those two.
