You know the hype stuff is really true. Everyone says Andrew Luck is so amazing on how he beat the lions blahblahblah, but nothing about his lousy completion percentage...just looked at his stats 24/54 (44% completion percentage), 4TDs 3INT. IMO that's not that Impressive. You don't throw those 3 picks and you wouldn't even be in that situation. He's good for a rookie, but extrremely overrated by the media. Yesterday I heard the MVP talk again from Michael Irvin and some other clown..uhm..what??.Deion actually said they lost their mind..lol.

The article is wrong. it says he drove 97 yards to tie. NO........they were down 4, he drove the 97 yards to win! and Good for Sherm to stand up for his QB, cause RW saved his ass in that OT. IMO

If he keeps doing what he did yesterday, it's definitely becoming harder to dispute that.

We're the front runners in the last wild-card playoff chase (which will be covered extensively).. and if Seattle wins the next two games + a SF loss to NE.. suddenly that Week 16 game will be in the National spotlight due to the division implications it will have. The media and the casual fan who has only seen Seattle play when Wilson really didn't do a whole lot (against SF and GB) will see what those who have followed this team all year have seen if he keeps it up. Give it time, satellite signals from Cairo take awhile to get out east.

News Flash! Luck beat the 4 and 8 Lions, in a Dome, who have a crap head coach!
We beat the NFC North leading, 8 and 4 Chicago Bears who everyone says is a Superbowl contender, in their house, on a thick, grassy field!

And yet Luck will get all the attention due to his 300+ yard game and 4 TD's. Nevermind the 3 INT's. It's too bad that in RW's 2 best games he's had 293 yards. So close to 300. 300 is the mark and since he hasn't hit it his play is discounted. RW IMO should be NFC player of the week. Not rookie of the week, but player of the week. Remember a few weeks back Kaepernick got all the love against the Bears in SF. My guess is RW won't get that same kind of love.

On a side note, the NFL Network sidebar (for upcoming stories) says "Sherman on Russell Wilson". Sherman's essentially a household name now.

For a guy that has thrown 17 picks as luck has and they are talking MVP. And russ made 2 game winning drives and its like oh seahawks win. It blows my mind. RG3 is ok but if he throws or runs 2 tds russ will be an after thought.

Albeit different circumstances from Wilson, where Luck seemingly dug his own hole with mistakes early on - still .. both these guys are special. This rookie class could be historically good when it's all said and done.

How many game winning drives have our defense cost Wilson?
Detroit, Miami, wouldn't AZ qualify? Can't remember the Rams game.

To be fair, we lost to the same Lions team, in the same dome, with the same head coach. The Colts went from the worst record in the league to being a front runner for the wildcard, thats pretty impressive by any standard. That being said, if we win out......I agree that Russell should be the ROY. Won't happen, but like Sherm says, we play in the Pac Northwest!

Its weird, Luck has the same completion % as Sanchez (only skelton is lower), and more turnovers. He actually leads the league in turnovers. He has a worse QB rating than Blaine Gabbert.
Most overrated QB in years.

Players make mistakes/mental errors. The defense have been keeping this team in the playoff hunt for the majority of the season. It's only right the offense (including RW) stepped up and took the wheel when the defense was struggling.
