Why should we re-sign Jason Jones?

  • Saw a recent thread mentioning we should definitely lock him up. Dude has 4, yes 4 tackles this year. Why should we bring him back?

  • He's had a far bigger impact than that.

    Today, though, he didn't show up much. The D-line definitely likes to disappear on the road.

  • Jones gets more pressure than Clem and Irvin combined. He doesn't play much on running downs so he doesn't get as many tackles, but he does a good job pressuring the QB. Good pass rushers don't get pressure on every single play.
