Packers look like they have the potential to lose to the Lions today (though they are only currently down by 3), which would slide us up to the #5 seed. We would then be playing @ the Giants. So technically, if the playoffs started today, that would suck- because we would have to wait until the last second to find out where we fly out to. Then we'd have to fly out and play the game with not much notice.

But yeah, a trip to San Francisco would be interesting, especially after our week 16 matchup with them.

Funny how quickly things change...

So now, with Tampa Bay's win, there is a 3-way tie for the final wildcard spot, between the Vikings, Hawks, and Bucs. And three way ties seem to be determined by conference record. As of this second then, the Vikings have a better conference record and would therefore win the final wildcard seed, knocking us out. Ridiculous, but that seems to be the way it works, according to ESPN.

Wrong. Minnestota goes. Minn/TB/Sea all tired at 6-4. Wins tie break over Seattle and Tampa Bay based on best win percentage in conference games.

That's irrelevant in a three-way tie, unless one team beat the other two.

If the playoffs started today, nobody would be there because everybody is expecting them in January.

Well the Super Bowl would be Christmas Week.
