Typical Seahawk coverage. They admitted to recording the interview the day before and not having "time" to air it yesterday because they were too busy. Greeny then did his typical arse kissing interview. You could tell that he was seething behind the scenes and refused to believe that Seattle could possibly be a playoff team. It wouldn't be a Greeny interview without him turning a Seahawk interview into a Mark Sanchez discussion.

Pete on Defense........solid group, growing and fitting it together as a young defense. Coach said Wagner is the only change on defense

Asked about the advantages of big corners.....pete said he likes guys with long bodies to play press...bump and run type coverage. Says they overwhelm you at the line of scrimmage and can play the ball well. Then called Kam a monster of a guy. Said Earl doesn't match up the same way but he runs around really fast

Asked about being at 6-4 and where he thinks we sit in the NFC...coach says that he doesn't know where we sit amongst the others but thinks we are playing good and winning games. Says Russel is growing with us and improving in things like 3rd down proficiency

Asked about the Jets' Sanchez where he feels Mark is...coach says mark knows the situation and that people will wonder if Tim should play more. Said Mark knows the organization and team are behind him...said he probably wishes the fans were more behind him. Said he's frustrated that things aren't going as smoothly as they could. Said Mark will do what's asked of him to the best of his ability. Said the Jets kind of brought on the controversy on themselves by bringing in Tebow.

Asked if pete still believes that missing that extra time still matters after this many years...Pete said that no, it doesn't matter now, that's all washed away. Reiterates that it takes a whole team to win or lose games and too many people focus on just the qb.

Went on to ask him about college football and 3 teams being undefeated and about one being left out of the championship game. Pete said we have to wait til the end of the season and see how it ends. It's not over now. Things could change between now and then. Says it'll be fun to see what happens.

Asked if he's a fan of the playoff...Pete says any playoff is better than no playoff. Thinks there should be 8 games and not 4...added there will always be the odd team out...the ninth team or the fifth team.
