Watch the tape. That is something that is required to determine QBR. It's entirely likely that Tannehill had a few passes dropped in the endzone that weren't his fault, like RW's pass to Braylon week 1 in AZ.

Yes, and no.
I don't really like the purely statistical approach due to the fact that a QB can chuck a screen that goes for 90 yards and a TD, really boosting his QB rating, but not his QBR. Then, another QB can go in and throw a perfect pass to a WR in the endzone, and the WR can bobble it and the ball will get intercepted, and while their QB rating drastically suffers, QBR mostly gives them the credit for the TD pass, putting the blame on the WR instead.
