Great Russell Wilson Interview: NFL AM

  • It's fun to see Russell come out of his shell a little bit. It's funny because if you look really closely, when he moves away from the canned stuff he says all the time, it's almost like he doesn't know what to say. Man, I love this kid. I need a damn jersey, now.

  • Well, that's the best interview I've heard him do so far. He's usually pretty good with the football cliches and stuff, but there was some good comments he made, and they sound genuine and original.

Nice to see the kid settling in.
Talent can get you to the playoffs.
It takes character to win when you get there.

  • I will do the entire Seahawks Nation a solid and NOT buy his jersey.

Every single Seahawk player jersey I have ever bought, they end up traded, cut, injured or retired within 5 years of the time I made the purchase.

    You're welcome. :D

  • Gosh Aros, yer ok then.

Every jersey I ever bought, it was that player's last season as a seahawk.

Yep. I think of this every time I see my DJ Hackett, Lofa Tatupu and John Carlson jerseys hanging sadly in my closet.

I guy I sit next to was wearing a Carlson jersey at the Vikes game and I asked him if it was intentional. He said no. The only reason was wearing it was because his Peterson was at the dry cleaners.
