Newton seemed off from the get go, credit our defense for never letting him get in a set rhythm.

I just watched a game where a 6'5'' quarterback who was the first player selected in the draft had three rejections and the 5'11" rookie third rounder had ZERO! Howard Schultz just tweeted that hell was freezing over. By the way Howard, say hello to bezelbub.

The one by Clem on the play preceded by his roughing the passer (which I understand and accept but was an unfortunate call as Clem was going for the tackle as Newton began his delivery-with his face down, Clem had no way of knowing whether Newton released the ball or merely pump faked) call was a thing of beauty. Like a well timed volleyball spike.

He's just doesn't have the physical tools to play in the NFL. Only a short QB would get a pass smacked down. BUUUUUUUUUUUST.

Did anyone else enjoy Crybaby Cam being a complete toolbag on the sideline???

The Clemons bat-down...
was a WORK OF ****ING ART btw! He's handling (and I mean *HANDLING*) his 1v1...while planning (and you can see it)...planning to jump and slap that pig...at just the right time.

I mean COME ON!

* seriously, please re-watch that. It's every TV movie of the week you've ever seen wrapped up in one defensive play.
Highlight reel please.

The NFL will have to start recruiting NBA prospects to fill a new 6'8" QB height requirement. Maybe the long-term plan wiill be to establish QB farms that start with 10yr olds using legalized HGH treatment?

Or maybe they start going in the other direction. Wilson is 5'10 and a half on a good day so maybe they opt for 5'10' and below. Easier to see the throwing lanes if they're at eye level. :th2thumbs:

On the QB farms comment, you may not be too far off the mark. Little bastards around the country are signing commitment letters at age 12. That's got train-wreck written all over it.
