How about this: the official team shop, at the physical location and online, is selling everything 50% off. I get all the email updates (most of you probably do too) and this is not just a regular run-of-the-mill sale. Those are usually "free shipping" or maybe 10% off or 25% off. I have never, ever seen every single regularly-priced item 50% off.
I think this is very relevant to this thread for a couple reasons. First, it ends on March 31, so clearly it's designed to end by the time the new stuff comes out.
Second, more importantly, of course you're going to put jerseys on sale because those will be outdated. But what about the shirts? The hats? Every other thing that has our logo and colors? Why would those be on sale?
I think this sale portends a bigger change. Not a refresh, but a pretty major change to at least the colors (which would affect the logo) and maybe also the shape of the logo. Otherwise, the team would go right on selling its earrings and mugs and bumper stickers with the "old" logo/colors.

I don't think the sale quite indicates what you think it does. According to what the Seahawks site is telling me in my personal account info, that GOHAWS50 coupon is good until April 30. And the sale does not discount everything. I selected about 8 things, and went to buy them, and the coupon didn't work for most of them (T-shirts, hats).

Or it has to do with the fact that once the Nike contract goes into effect, they are not allowed to sell any Reebok apparel.

Seems they have also removed all the good player options from the jersey selection. All that is left is Miller and Hill, and then players who aren;t even on the roster anymore.
No Lynch jerseys, no Thomas jerseys, no Okung jerseys, etc.
They took away all the good options so people can't get a great deal on all of them, unless you order an authentic custom.
They also have removed a lot of the really expensive custom items (like furtiniture, billiards sets, etc.) as well as the outerwear section.
They don't want people taking advantage of the really good stuff.

That's not what the guy at the team's Pro Shop told me. Then again, he could have been wrong. Even if they're allowed to sell off existing stock, they aren't going to be carrying it in the team shop alongside all the brand new Nike stuff. It will be in a warehouse, and priced according on-line in an effort to get rid of it.

April 1st starts Nike's "invasion". Therefore, EVERYTHING that isn't Nike must go (well, except for New Era). You've already seen the 2012 colors on the New Era draft cap and the Nike ProBowl shoes/gloves. Only 14 or 15 days to go!!
