Shop at Amazon.com and support Seahawks.NET

The Essential Online Seahawks Fan Forum Community. There simply is NO substitute. RATING: PG-13
  • All,
I wanted to share a new method for you to support the site for those that may not be able to do a cash donation. If you need to buy anything, simply use the link below, purchase it through Amazon.com, and you'll be supporting the site!

We've set up an associates account with Amazon.com that will allow us to get a small percentage of anything you want to buy, as long as you click through our link to do it. The great thing about this is that it's exactly the same experience, the same excellent price, and same great service. The only difference is that when you use our link to purchase anything, you help support the daily costs of hosting the second largest Seahawks community on the web.

So if you regularly shop and purchase at Amazon.com, all I ask is that you either click here prior to shopping, or better yet, bookmark the link directly and shop away! If you haven't shopped there before, try it out. It's simple, quick, and most importantly, excellent prices.

Here's the link. Please bookmark it, or watch for it to show up in the main banner at the very top of the forum in the empty space to the right of the Seahawks.NET logo.

    http://www.amazon.com/?_encoding=UTF8&tag=wwwseahawksne-20&linkCode=ur2&camp=1789&creative=390957

For those that still want to make a standard donation, that will still be available and shown in the current format. Please note that for those that have made a donation, or if you make a donation using the donate link, 100% of that money goes to site hosting costs. That will not change.

Thanks to everyone for helping to keep us community supported. It's important to us that we not sell the site to another company, or display a bunch of banner ads that take away from the clean feel. I hope this is a good compromise and I welcome your feedback via PM or email.

    Thanks everyone, and Go Seahawks!

I almost just bought a kindle on impulse. I will buy one eventually once I figure out which model I want and I will absolutely use this link to do so. I do a lot of shopping online and Amazon is a big one for me. Great move! I have not donated to this site yet and I have always felt guilty about it. Now I can make good on that. Thank you.

It adds up actually, so we very much appreciate it. So far, we've made about $87 in under a month going straight to hosting costs, so a big thanks to all of you and especially those forwarding out the link to others that aren't even Seahawk fans!

  • Sorry guys, not ignoring anyone, but I've been absent from the site for a while, and will continue to be while things are crazy at the real work.

To answer your question, you guys have earned about $180 this month alone with your Amazon spending, so it's making a huge difference! That's almost enough to pay for the hosting costs for the entire month with just Amazon spending! Keep it up!! And thank you very much!!!

    Awesome, thanks!

In order to keep track of how much your Amazon shopping is helping, I've added the year-to-date totals in the donations section towards the bottom of the main page. We'll update the amount each month.

We've collected $228 so far this year, so thanks everyone!

Yea, you pay a yearly fee for free 2nd day shipping on anything you buy (it must be from Amazon directly, and not an affiliate) or upgrade to overnight for just $3.99. It's a no brainer if you buy more than 5 or 6 items from Amazon each year.

You also get a very wide variety of products available for free with the subscription. A huge selection of streaming movies, television shows, etc., are all available for free, bigger discounts on sale items, and I believe books participating in the Kindle Direct Program (KDP) drop to free as well. I know I've bought books participating in KDP and have gotten it free because of Prime. It's a pretty solid investment, really. Most older movie rentals in the $1.99-$3.99 range are also free for Prime members.

    You know CoinStar?

If you have a huge jar of coins laying around you can go to CoinStar (SafeWay, Saar's have them) and dump all your coins in there and get a Amazon card. If you get the gift cards or eCertificates they don't charge you a fee. Just looking out for you guys if you want to shop again and you have some change laying around. I am going to do it today

How is that lovely wife and family?

We're doing great Les. She's still putting up with me! Right now, looking to buy a bigger house. About to become a grandpa at 40! 19 year old is having a baby. Kinda crazy! She's in nursing scholol so, as long as she stays in (she will she's an honor student) she'll be fine.

    How's you're family?

  • Mind if I ask what the updated numbers are? I'm very curious to know how much this has raised. I love how slick it works. My wife shops a lot on Amazon and I have replaced her Amazon bookmark on her internet browser with the link.

  • Nice! That's almost a thou a year, and probably will be, what with Christmas and all.
World Champion Seattle Seahawks football. It's an addiction, and there is no cure.
Les Norton - gone but never forgotten. Rest in blue and green peace, my friend.
