watch the throne came out. love it. but the Carter IV has been in heavy rotation in my CD player/ipod, replacing it in a week?.
i dont want to say ones better than the other, but theres a few more weezy songs im lovin than jay/kanye.
still think recovery is one of the best rap albums since chronic 2001. but dont mind me, im a part time listener.
what say you?

I have been listening to more Hell: The Sequel than either Watch the Throne or The Carter IV.
That said, I agree. Recovery is the best rap album since Chronic 2001. Hands down.

Being as big a Jay-Z and Kanye fan as I am. The album was kinda weak. I do like otis, new day, Illest M*&(^(&*^*& alive, why i love you, gotta have it, Murder To Excellence, and the joy are really the only songs that i liked.
Some more albums i'd recommend are...
The Game: The RED Album
^my personal favorite on the album
Kendrick Lamar: Section .80
^should've been song of the year

As a caucasian man who grew up in the woods of Bonney Lake WA back when it was woods, and will turn 52 in a week, I would just like to say - What do those words you typed actually mean? It's like a whole different language! Maybe I should just curl up with my vinyl 70s rock albums and listen to them skip until I die...

Good call Throwdown. I have Section.80 and love it. My fav on that CD is Keisha's Song. I also like how he goes off on the end of Rigamortus.

I love it as well, the dude has a certain style that i can't really compare to anyone else. "Ronald Reagan Era" is one of my favorites as well.
I'm also anticipating this J.Cole Album sorta. He's been releases some so-so and whatever stuff lately, but he really came out swinging when he has signed with Roc Nation.
And for my ignorant side, i really like Meek Mill.
I also need to know, does anyone listen to Jay Electronica?

Listened to some music from Jay-z and Kanye, watch the throne that is and didn't like it all. I think Hell:Sequel is much better in terms of lyrics. I was listening to Recovery on the way to work today, love that album. As of Carter IV, I don't listen to Lil wayne, he is just terrible!

pshhhh whatchu know bout some nas? hahaha It Was Written is one ofthe greatest hip hop albums ever IMO
Commons always been dope
Slaughterhouse is cool, i remember i was hyped when they first came out with music
both of those stayed in heavy rotation. Joe Budden & Joell Ortiz were always one of my favorites. Royce was always dope, never really cared much for Crooked I.
Last two you listed arent my type of stuff.
But how about some Bone Thugs-N-Hormony????

Bone Thugs certainly have some great tracks. I saw Slaughterhouse perform live last year at Paid Dues in San Bernardino, CA. They were dope, I love when they perform "Microphone!"

Yeah man, we worked on that at my studio this past summer. Luck's definitely one of my favorite rappers in the NW.

So I kind of just discovered this guy, and I don't know if you guys have heard of him or not. But he just put out a new mixtape and I cannot stop listening to it.
And this is my personal favorite track

Been listening to Childish Gambino (aka Donald Glover, from Community) figured i'd share it here.
You can skip to about 2 minutes in on that one.
