Maybe not exact numbers but the theory behind it, getting better as the season wears on ( I am assuming that theory, in actuality you might be solely basing your numbers on schedule?). The younger guys showing their expected progress and contributing to being a little more of a solid team down the stretch. Being more solid won't always translate to more wins though, as long as we are seeing some tough battles and no blow outs and something to build on going into next year considering our QB situation I think it would be a success. I've been predicting 5 wins, so I'll stick with that. 5-11

4-12..... and in the running for one of the top qbs. I think games will be a lot more close this year and we will be a lot more competitive week in and week out.

SO hard to make predictions when Pete and JS are so unpredictable w/personnel (but in a good way). Based on what I know and have seen as of today Sept 6, I say 6-10. W 6 -- Beat: X2, Cardinals, Rams, Bengals, Redskins

7-9. Figure there's going to be one inexplicable win, maybe against the Falcons, and one inexplicable loss (The Browns or the Bengals) that balance each other out, though I don't have it predicted.

If it were not for the "colors" here I'd think I was on the Rams or Cardinal's board! 11-5 and Division champs. NEVER SAY DIE!

Doesn't it seem that with dynasty teams, several players a year are changed out because of injuries, draft, retirement, etc., but the overall scheme and rotation remains constant? Predicting W/L record is probably easier. They're winners so they change less; they move players less so they win more. It's like a cat chasing its tail.
I agree with Dan. PC and JS have made it difficult to guage, regardless of who I root for. Optimist in me wants 10-6 or better; defeatist says there's no floor to how bad we may be.
Gut feeling? I can't see us loosing both games to the 9ers, to Cincy, or Cleveland. Throw in a couple more, and I'm predicting 5-11.
If we play several close, heart-breaker type games above this, I'd call it a successful year based on our crazy rotating O-line, rooks, and nearly brand-new D.

9-6 & division champs I see you're endorsing the 18 game schedule!! in that case i vote 6-6-6!!

at San Francisco 49ers - WIN - Alex's world is rocked early when he becomes the filling in a Clemons/Bryant sandwich Earl and Tru both get a INT.
at Pittsburgh Steelers - WIN - Rothlesburger accidentaly sneezes while performing felatio on Roger Goodell, (part of their agreement) They are able to reattach his member but Ben is permanently banned from the NFL. The rest of the team, angry at missing all the fun performs poorly.
vs Arizona Cardinals - Win - In a surprise move Larry Fizgerald retires from football to become Dean of Pheonix university.
vs Atlanta Falcons - Win - Falcons team chefs accidentaly sustitute Exlax for chocolate waffle sauce at team breakfast. Things get ugly.
at New York Giants -Win - Giants have 11 false starts in their own stadium (go figure?)
at Cleveland Browns - Loss - Holmgren gets his revenge.
vs Cincinnati Bengals - WIN - Carson Palmer comes out of retirement. He is sacked on every offensive play (including the runs), meanwhile Tjack runs around a lot and throws some touchdowns. Seahawks fans finally stop speculating on Palmer trade. Palmer re-retires.
at Dallas Cowboys - WIN -The Jerrydome goes into forclosure, game is relocated outside, it rains in Texas. Need I say more.
vs Baltimore Ravens - WIN - Ray Lewis is inducted into the Hall of fame early and forced into retirement.
at St. Louis Rams - WIN - Every .net member attends the Amush at the Arch giving us home field advantage
vs Washington Redskins - Win - After reeling off 10 straight wins Rex finally falters.
vs Philadelphia Eagles - WIN - Vick accidentally trips over a poodle, probation violation, back to the slammer.
vs St. Louis Rams - LOSS - Damn those Rams!
at Chicago Bears - LOSS - Damn snow!
at San Francisco 49ers - WIN - Alex Smith, being a gamer plays the entire game in traction as a result of his previos sandwich experience. Performs poorly.
vs Arizona Cardinals - LOSS - gotta be realistic.
12-4 but we miss the playoffs because the owners change their minds and decide tio resume the lockout.

6-10 and thats quite optimistic with a win on Sunday @ SF. I just think the 9ers are in even worse shape than us. If we are going to win a road game, its going to be against a bad team right out of the gates. Rams at home late in the season is another one Im on the fence about, but I can see us splitting with the Rams.

4-12 and our team ends up with either Landry Jones or Matt Barkley and thus FINALLY a QB of the future.
EDIT: After some thought I changed yesterdays' Browns prediction of a win to a loss and overall record from 5-11 to 4-12.

We go 10-6. Host a WC game and win.
Then lose @ NY in the divisional round.
