Hey thanks! I think it helped that I've been an electronics tech for 30 years, but that sure was a lot of math to learn... Turns out the toughest part is getting a job, apparently. Still waiting to hear anything. If this keeps up, I'll be forced to go through a temp agency.

No degree for the type of work I am doing, just a lot of experience in real life.

Got that call I was waiting for today (I was on a Mt Rainier ride-around and missed it - criminy!) and will be talking to the Hiring Officer at Puget Sound Shipyards tomorrow about being a Nuclear Controls and Instrumentation Engineer. Whoohoo! We'll be talking about the arrangements to take a tour on 7/15, which as far as I can tell means I'm hired and also leaves me time to ride my sorry ass down your way...

 The first pic of me ever put on the internet (other than xrays).  One more of me..both obviously edited.  My cat, Blitz. No, I dont usually dress him. He has sensitive skin (because he has to take steroids...because he has an autoimmune disease...) and sometimes rubs it raw in spots so when that happens he has to wear clothes.  The person who has to put up with the most.
