Nice fish.
Hope to get back to fishing this summer. I know I'm going to spend at least a week on the Columbia below one of the dams fishing and kity flying this summer.
And again try to catch a sturgeon in my brother in laws backyard in Kelso.

Thanks I love sturgeon fishing. Use to do it all the time before my dad had to sell his boat. I'm also hoping I can get back at it this summer... Plus there's nothing better than some good 'ol smoked sturgeon.

Now that she's a star on Mtv, time to break out the pic of me and Amber from the 2003 or 2004 Net Bash ... Jeez has it been that long?

Hey I remember that. Wasn't it downtown Seattle? The wife and I have an autographed photo from that night on a calender. Just got it out to observe again recently. She's way bigger than MTV now, has a steady gig on the Price is Right and is cute as ever.

We spent 5 weeks in Kelso waiting for the weather at home to get warm enough to bring our trailer home. My sister in Law was big on game shows so in the mornings that's what was on. Drew Carey does a good job but he ain't Amber.

Hey Rob! Waiting to hear from 3 job interviews (I think they all liked me...), to see what and when the next step is for each. I certainly plan to get my ass down there ASAP, before starting anywhere! I need to see you, and I need to see a physics chum from Pierce College Tacoma who's doing EE at Sacramento State, and I need to visit San Diego just because, and etc. The 3 jobs are: 1) Nuclear Controls and Instrumentation Engineer at Puget Sound Shipyards. They interviewed me on-the-spot at UW, and told me to my face that I was exactly who they were looking for. Just waiting for the Hiring Officer to arrange the site visit. 2) Material Properties and Physics Engineer at Boeing, testing radiation effects on outer space electronics. They were especially intrigued by the flying Geiger counter I designed and built last quarter. And, 3) Electronics Engineer for the FAA. The manager told me he's going to see if they can at least get me a 2-year temp slot to circumvent the hiring freeze... I should know more about these in the next couple of days, and then be able to plan accordingly. Knock on wood! (...umm...that's not what I meant by that, Rob... )
