I just noticed you live in Ronan. I live probably a little more than an hour from you. Well, three hours or so last summer/fall. Did they ever finish that road work between the Y on I-90 and you? Man it sucked last year when I went to Kalispell (through Ronan) to buy a car.

I grew up suffering through Bidwell's Football Cardinals. The only time they made the payoffs, Bidwell responded by firing the coach, Don Coryell. Then the Cardinals decamped to Arizona. I was a Chief's fan for many years until the Rams came to town. I've been in Sequim for two years and now that the fix seems to be in to move the Rams, I'm going to try to move on. With the Seahawks at 32 in the Walter Power Rankings and a promising new regime, this seems like the perfect time to get to know my local team.

Your favorite food isn't Kraft Dinner??? harhar.

I know Edmonton a bit. Been there a few times. Since you're a chef, have you ever heard of a place called Pasta Time located off the Yellowhead?

Becoming a fan in '09 is pretty amazing. Talk about going against the grain.

Welcome to the board and best of luck getting up here for school.

A Little More About Me
NFL: Bengals, Jets; NFL players: Bernard Scott, Leon Washington
NCAAF: Gamecocks; NCAAF players: Marcus Lattimore
MLB: Rays; MLB players: Ichiro Suzuki, Evan Longoria

Other than the Bengals, I tend to gravitate to underdog teams who have a huge upside in potential. Last year was the Jets who had a major overhaul and obtained a coach whose mindset I love. It shows that it wasn't the players - it was the coaching. 2008 it was the lowly Dolphins. This year it's the Seahawks. I see a lot of potential here. No team stays bad forever - but only if bad management interferes and keeps the bad coaching.

A lot of people here aren't big fans of Urlacher, but I give him a pass, because he's originally from Pasco, WA, which is pretty much where I live. There's still a lot of Urlachers here, and I believe he spends a fair amount of time in this area in the off season.
