Well, this was the informal thing in all honesty. It wasn't the mass graduation for the year. We didn't make that one sadly, as we had already road tripped to the wrong side of the States by then. But still... She puts up with a lot of my crap - I'm a pretty lucky guy in that regard.

My ineptitude really shows up when trying to link pics, so let's cross our fingers and hope these are images, rather than red X's or broken links: This is me, morning of the Jets/Hawks snow game last year. The starter on my truck picked that day to go tits up, so the wife & I walked the 2 miles into Port Orchard to catch the ferry into Seattle:

That was quite a day for everyone making their way down to the game. My daughter and I waivered between going and not going and finally saying, "F it! We will go and either end up either at the game or in a ditch!" We took pictures of the whole day for a photo diary. Here are a couple: The I-405 South/I-90 West Interchange around 9AM the morning of the game. If you are from the northeast and looking at this and thinking this isn't bad, realize that we don't have the plows and salt that you do and so even a few inches of snow is a hassle. Side streets were much worse, with sometimes a foot and a half of unplowed, ungravelled, unsalted snow. mixed with random ice crusts. We parked at the Safeco garage, ate at Pyramid and made our way into the stadium. Woo hoo!

I want to jump in here now and then and thank all of you for the terrific pictures. Dyno, that lady looks entirely to squared away to be with you, what is the deal?
(I kid, I kid, good looking family)
And Mishy I applaud your being able to stand an Ms game last year.
Drive to a game in the snow, hell that looks like it looked over here all year.

Hey Dyno I know that trick works perfectly, used it myself. Of course I have so far been sentenced to 46 years of payment for it.

Hawkboi, great to see another parrothead out there! Jimmy Buffett concerts rock - caught the one in San Jose a number of years back on his Carnival tour. The one you were at looked like a lot of fun too.

Being a Sailor it only makes sense that you're a "Parrothead" The concert was last October and it was absolutely a Great Time! Sold out and the Tailgating actually beats most Football Tailgating. A great event for sure!

I would have to choose "Boat Drinks" "Juicy Fruit" and "One Particular Harbor"...JB does have some other really fun songs like "We're Still Here" from his concert tour last year, and "A Lot To Drink About" for his concert tour this year. There's so many good ones I can't list them all. Guess I really am a Parrothead. Listen to Margaritaville.com, it's great music and fun to listen to.

SharkJerkHawk in the flesh. Me, son, wife, and a mystery member of Seahawks.net with his family at a professional soccer game last summer. Not pictured... my seven month old daughter who was only partway there at the time (meaning hiding in mom's tummy).
