Week eight is over. We're through the first two months of the NFL season. So it's that time of year again, folks. Yes, I'm doing it again. Here's what the 2014 draft order would be if the season ended today. As an addition this year, I will also be stating which team owns a particular pick if it's been traded. Picks 1-20 are decided by record. Picks 21-32 are decided by record and playoff success. Since the playoffs haven't actually been played, the picks have been placed in order of the playoff seeds (as found here). Picks 21-24 are the 5th & 6th seeds, picks 25-28 are the 3rd & 4th seeds, picks 29 & 30 are the 2nd seeds, and picks 31 & 32 are the #1 seeds. The only tiebreaker for draft order is opponent's winning percentage. If that is the same, a coin flip breaks the tie.

1: Houston Texans, 2-14-0, 0.559
2: Washington Redskins, 3-13-0, 0.516 (pick owned by St. Louis)
3: Jacksonville Jaguars, 4-12-0, 0.504
4: Cleveland Browns, 4-12-0, 0.516
5: Oakland Raiders, 4-12-0, 0.523
6: Atlanta Falcons, 4-12-0, 0.553
7: Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 4-12-0, 0.574
8: Minnesota Vikings, 5-10-1, 0.512
9: Buffalo Bills, 6-10-0, 0.520
10: Detroit Lions, 7-9-0, 0.457
11: Tennessee Titans, 7-9-0, 0.504
12: New York Giants, 7-9-0, 0.520
13: St. Louis Rams, 7-9-0, 0.551
14: Chicago Bears, 8-8-0, 0.465
15: Pittsburgh Steelers, 8-8-0, 0.469
16: Baltimore Ravens, 8-8-0, 0.484*
17: Dallas Cowboys, 8-8-0, 0.484*
18: New York Jets, 8-8-0, 0.488
19: Miami Dolphins, 8-8-0, 0.523
20: Arizona Cardinals, 10-6-0, 0.531
21: Green Bay Packers, 8-7-1, 0.453
22: Philadelphia Eagles, 10-6-0, 0.453
23: Kansas City Chiefs, 11-5-0, 0.445
24: Cincinnati Bengals, 11-5-0, 0.480
25: San Diego Chargers, 9-7-0, 0.496
26: Indianapolis Colts, 11-5-0, 0.484 (pick owned by Cleveland)
27: New Orleans Saints, 11-5-0, 0.516
28: Carolina Panthers, 12-4-0, 0.494
29: New England Patriots, 12-4-0, 0.473
30: San Francisco 49ers, 12-4-0, 0.494
31: Denver Broncos, 13-3-0, 0.469
32: Seattle Seahawks, 13-3-0, 0.490

* picks 16 & 17 decided by coin flip

The Jaguars SOS is pretty insane through 8 games. The average record of their 8 opponents is 5-2, the same record as Indy or Green Bay.

Well we can help them out a bit this week by raising the Buccaneer's.

What is interesting is the Falcons, one of the favorites last year to win it all and now a top 10 pick.

maybe they'll trade all their picks again to move up and take another WR

I always root against the Raiders. The Flynn trade gives us the Raiders 5th in the next draft. We lose our 3rd in the Harvin trade.

Man the Lambs are gonna get two top twenty picks again, maybe even two top 10s.

And this may be the best year for the Rams to draft a QB and cut Bradford. Most of Bradfords guaranteed money is paid and a top 15 QB would be peanuts in comparison to Bradfords 10+ million a season left on his last 2 years.

This will be the last year of the RG3 trade benefits. They should take advantage and get a QB with one of their picks or combine the two 1st rounders and move up.

Unrelated, but those have got to be almost historic low opponent winning percentages for the Broncos and Chiefs.

And now Seattle currently has the #1 easiest schedule by record to this point in the season. That's incredible when you consider that the rest of their division has a combined record of 19-14.
