Stop acting like liberals don't want to get to the bottom of Benghazi [seems alittle more cut and dry however to us non-conspiracy nuts].
Even if they did blame video initially at no point did the President ever suggest it wasn't a terrorist attack, regardless of the origin.

Even if you take the whole bit about claiming it was a video (which happened whether you care or not) out of the equation, there were still plenty of mistakes made here. Warnings not heeded, protection requests not granted, etc. There is plenty of reason to investigate this and get to the bottom of it. Many of you guys in this very forum, have said this isn't an important issue, and funnily enough, you guys tend to say that about a lot of issues that look bad on this administration. Either it's Bush's fault or it's not that important in the scheme of things. It's about time to own up that this president and his administration makes loads of mistakes both big and small, and we can't just ignore them all any longer.

That this administration has made mistakes? Well no shit. "can't ignore them any longer" God, I can't fucking stand shit like this. EVERY single mistake has been scrutinized over and over again. Stop pretending like Obama has gotten a free pass. It makes you sound like a partisan douchebag instead of an intelligent person with a different set of opinions. We've already gone over Bengahzi in the previous thread, I'm not going to have the same argument and there hasn't been any news worth a damn about it to change anything.

Feel free to not reply then. And if you don't think the hearings that have happened this week haven't changed anything, you aren't paying attention.

And sending more support there before the incident would have just caused more American casualties, so lives were actually saved because of Clinton's (in)action.

Fuck the video. Who gives a fuck about the god damn video?
On day 1 Obama called it a terrorist attack.
Why didn't Reagan save those guys in Lebanon 1983?

Why didn't Reagan save those guys in Lebanon 1983? Why are you so vehemently against people doing their jobs and looking into what went wrong and why this happened? Do you not believe there were any mistakes made at any level of the administration? Do you have THAT much faith in your government? Or do you just want it to go away because it's a stain on the administration you support instead of one you might not? Personally, I think anytime something like this happens and there are unsolved questions, we should be looking into it. As I said earlier, it's funny how people from the left want more government interaction to insure everything is being done properly, except when it comes to policing their own. Funny how that works

But unlike you, I'm not hoping for this massive cover-up to be revealed. I'm not absolving anyone, and if Bush was president I wouldn't try to pin it on him just because I differed in policy opinion. I don't blame 9/11 on Bush and it's ridiculous to try to blame 9/11/12 on Obama.

It probably changed at least one thing. If Rand Paul ever did want to run for Pres, he has a wonderful statement hanging over his head.
"If I were President, I would have fired you......." That'll play nice in the Democratic ads. I'm not so sure HIllary will even run in 2016. In fact I doubt it. But if she does, can you imagine the "Who is this presumptuous little twit anyway?"
She's counted as a pretty good SoS, regardless of what the Repub propaganda might say, and she polls high in her favorables, especially against assholes like Paul, Cantor, Jindal, and pretty much any R currently considered a possible candidate.

I wouldn't have voted for Hillary in 2008 but she seems a lot more seasoned now. No doubt she has the experience to be an effective president. I would expect her to be a bit more moderate if she ran in 2016 than she did in 2008.

... Only in America can someone mess up so badly and then be looked at as a presidential candidate after making excuses for why she messed up.
I only care about what she says and how she says it, who cares about what she actually does??

I only care about what she says and how she says it, who cares about what she actually does?? I could say the same thing about prior administrations. You do know who the Chairman of the National Security Council was leading up to and through 9/11/01, right? Who was later promoted to Secretary of State? Hint, she had a super tanker named after her. The question Rand Paul should be asked is, "Who got fired over 9/11?" IIRC, the only person who lost their job over that was Bill Maher.

And how DARE Rand Paul say he would have held her responsible for her own actions over her own department! The GALL!

However, you're right in saying that he has no chance of ever being president. He would be bad for business for the corporations who fund our political parties. He may be able to slip in however if he compromises his values and takes some money from the banks and other lobbyists in Washington.

Fundamentalist douchebag is a compliment for Rand Paul, he's honestly worse than that.
