This is sickening IMO. These losers will be raping smaller boys or victims of rape with a quickness (another great wrong). Oh boo-hoo, you RAPED a girl, you deserve a FUCK of a lot worse! This is disgusting; this girl will live with this all her life and these people have the audacity to complain about them being labeled sex offenders?!? There is NO excuse for what these boys did and this is NOT justice! Ask yourself; what if it was my daughter?

yeah i heard about this on the radio, the reporters have stupid names also. "Poppy Harlow" Lmao.
I know rape is a terrible thing but how did this rape story get so much media attention? Rape happens all the time.
Teenagers get drunk all the time to.

It involved social media, they were dumb enough to post their exploits online, a town that revolves around football, them being football players, and a town that seemed more worried about the football team then justice for the victim. I haven't followed this very closely, so there might be more.

I only watched the first few minutes but I didn't see the same things you did.
It seems like they are portraying it correctly. Two young kids with a lot of talent and intelligence make horrific, stupid mistakes and will pay for it the rest of their lives, obviously the girl will pay for it in a worse way and that's why they will be going to jail AND their lives are ruined.
I don't think you need to portray them as complete evil. It doesn't paint a correct picture if you just go on TV calling them horrible rapists. It would be wrong if they said that this is a case of "boys being boys" or they were just let off.

I saw an article somewhere (maybe the NY Times) about this case and they were talking about how it was a societal problem and that it was more society to blame then the kids. Then you add on major outlets like CNN talking about how scarred the boys lives will be and you get way too much of the press seeming to take this event way too lightly.

Yeah, blaming anyone but the kids is wrong. They are old enough to know what's right/wrong. I'm hoping that they are saying that it's "ruined" these boys lives trying to teach a lesson to teens that this will fuck your life up. Don't fucking do it.
