  • Read the reviews because of the link. Seems like it could be interesting though I am not sure how a 365ft monster goes about achieving balance.

  • Any godzilla movie that doesn't involve plastic models or claymation will be dumb.

For as good as the previews looked, the movie didn't live up to the hype. But if you're a fan of Godzilla it's a solid flick

For all the people who wanted my take on Godzilla, it was cool movie not bad, but not great

  • I'm with Doug and Kearse on this. It was a good movie but wasn't great. A large part of that was that I was expecting really great things from this movie though. If you are going into this believing the hype you'll be disappointed. My wife on the other hand went in to this movie just as a tag along, with no expectations and really enjoyed the movie.

  • My brother is going to the movies tonight to see this.

I will only go and see it if Heisenburg decides to cook with Jesse during the movie now that would be a trip.

I don't know what your preferences are as far as seeing it in Imax 3D, but I think that this will only be on IMax 3D for a week in most theaters since they usually only have one equipped for that type and X-Men will bump this movie out of those theaters next Friday.

The movie was solid and enjoyable if you go in with realistic expectations. They could have used stock footage from a lot of the old movies to save themselves time.

  • I am a HUGE Godzilla fan. I watched the wonderfully horrible rubber suit movies as a kid, enjoying every minute of them. I hated the 1998 abortion and don't consider it a true Godzilla movie. With all this said, I freaking loved the new movie. I may go and watch it again in I-max this time simply because it would be even more awesome.

This is just my opinion and I'm not here to bag on those that didn't enjoy it as much as me. I'm just recommending it as a Godzilla fan to others who may be fans as well.

  • I had real low expectations for this flick and maybe that's why I enjoyed it so much... as it was really entertaining for the most part (the middle hits this unnecessary snag that kind of bores you to a near siesta)

Definitely a movie you should see in the theater though.
