  • Directed by Ron Howard as well - bonus.

If this thing has less than 88 tomatoes by saturday - I want an apology (lol from the OL thread on the main board)

  • I don't apologize to anyone, especially when it comes to offensive lines, I'll let the asshats have their way at ruining yet another thread and never contributing anything positive.

    But this movie should rock.

  • I followed that closely when it happened and don't really want to see or hear about it again.

Niki Lauda was one of the best and what a deal for him to survive those terrible burns to return to racing. But his is one case I'd have had a hard time seeing him face to face.

  • I really want to see this as well, I have always loved F1! I was lucky enough to see Ayrton Senna win the Phoenix Grand Prix.

  • Looking forward to this and hopefully going to see it tomorrow night.

I also think Don Jon has potential. Love Joseph Gordon Levitt.

  • Well, I was completely disappointed. I didn't see Geddy Lee, Alex Lifeson or Neil Peart anywhere... The entire movie! What a waste! Talk about your false advertising!

    :)

Seriously though, I'm looking forward to this one. Rarely disappointed in a Ron Howard film... Plus I think I might get laid afterwards. My wife swoons every time she sees that damn Chris Hemsworth. I'll know what she's thinking about if her eyes are closed the whole time! Like I care... hahahaha

  • I stopped liking F1 when those pansy-asses refused to race in the US Grand Prix because they didn't like the tires. What a bunch of weeny whiny prima donnas.

It doesn't say why really, other than the 84-85 season being a disappointment. He was only in his 40s...

  • Not a Lauda fan, but I am a big F1 fan. Now that the US has one (possibly 2 if New Jersey pans out) race a year in Texas even more so. The movie ought to be spectacular.
