I knew Toric was too sloppy & stupid to be the villain for the whole season.

Been watching since season 2 and have enjoyed it up till recently. Ya know, I'm getting pretty sick of Charlie Hunnam's acting. He's regressing. He's become so melodramatic and over the top it's getting to be a joke. He's trying so hard to play the tough guy role that his natural accent is is slipping in. And what's up with his gangster lean walk? It's getting more pronounced. Good episode though.

I'm curious to see how the rest of the season plays out, they got rid of one of biggest problems this season pretty damn quickly. Maybe the Irish thing will become the main problem? That things been boiling off to the side for a few seasons now.

It's going to come down to a war with the Irish. I'm so glad that Toric character is toast. However, that leaves Nero vulnerable for the evidence Toric planted in his truck.

PS...I wish the show would give us subtitles every time Chibs opens his mouth! Can never understand half of what he says. At least twice an episode, the wife and I look at each other and say "What did he just say?"

I was reading that Toric's death was a re-write due to conflicting schedules and you can tell because the earlier episodes left a lot to be desired about his background. That said, I couldn't stand the character, especially after he killed the escort. I'm hoping they go check his room and they see the blood from the girl, that way Nero can get off the hook.

What do you guys think will happen with Tig? I thought for sure he was dead.

I also was pissed that they killed filthy Phil. I wanted to see his character develop more.

If you remember when Jax met with August Marks, Marks told him that if he can pass off the Irish gun running to him and his people, the debt for Tig would be paid. But this whole thing with the Irish now kind of puts that in trouble, we'll see though, maybe a whole new issue pops up and they can successfully pass the gun running to Marks, but I think that'd be too much moving around for this season.

Yeah I don't see them passing the guns now. Tig is also a bit paranoid now. I think he dies at some point this season.

You starting from the beginning? I think I started in season 4. Literally watched all of season 1 in a day. (Had nothing better to do.)

yeah from the beginning. I tend to do that with popular shows. Started on the Wire in 2011, Breaking Bad after season 3, the Walking Dead after season 2

I got into it last season when I got heavy into my netflix, gunned through the first 3 in like 2 weeks, it was that good, and then I needed to get season 4, so I got the torrent of the whole season, and i caught up to season 5 pretty fast.

It's my favorite show on TV, even before Breaking Bad ended, sucks that next season is the last.

Yep. I think they really needed that.

Once the music started and it was a good ol' chase scene, I remember telling my wife, it feels like they haven't done this in awhile.

Just a pause, a break, get away from the serious main story and have some fun! Wasn't this more common in the beginning of the series?

I swear I read somewhere that this is going to be a common thing the rest of the season with the other crap still going on.

This show has more ridiculous drama in it than Seahawks.NET.

If that is possible.

SPOILER ALERT BELOW!!!

This season has kicked so much ass, I wonder how the deal Jax made is gonna play out after the fact? Does it come back to bite the club and Jax? Or something a little better? Cuz if you remember after the bombing, the top IRA dudes were looking at Galen real puzzled when Jax said he didn't want a war and kept the one dude alive.

That shit ain't gonna end well. I suspect Tara's betrayal will create all kinds of evil thoughts and deeds by series end.

The MC cannot even double-cross folks without multiple complications. Now the Chinese and the DA want some of Galen. Just couldn't be a simple buy and trap thing.

Well damn. I didn't see the finale going down like that. You gotta wonder what's gonna happen to Juice now, and how the club's gonna get drawn into the war between Marks & the Niners and the Chinese & the Mayans.

I can't read anything in this thread yet, I downloaded this season and am watching it right now. Will probably be done late tomorrow night. I'm three episodes in, pretty good thus far.
