  • Did this hike hours before the game. I am claiming (partial) credit for the Hawks win by channeling the norse Gods of the fjords. Now if I only do this 21 more times we could have a perfect season.

If you are interested this place is Lysefjord in Norway and the spot specifically is the Kjeragbolten.

  • Nicely done! Now how the hell did that rock get there and how did you feel standing on it?

  • Awesome pic, very cool.

I could never do it, love hiking but hate heights. Hell even Rattlesnake Ledge freaks me out.
So you think you can tell Heaven from Hell, blue skies from pain. Can you tell a green field from a cold steel rail? A smile from a veil?

  • Great job Goggles, I've seen pictures of that rock before but never had any idea where it was. What was the picture taker standing on?

And congrats on the pretty lady with you. Is it hard to access?

  • You reach the rock by following a creek that eventually plunges over the cliff. I'm assuming the rock slowly rolled forward every flood until it got wedged.

Multiple people had panic attacks while standing on it. Also a popular spot for base jumpers, although nine have died there.

  • That is AWESOME!!! I wish I could experience things like this. So very cool. Thanks for wearing the Hawks colors and getting a pic. Where do they stand to get the pic? It seems like it is kind of floating out there. Are you living in Florence like it says under location? I'm reading a book about the place now. Pretty fascinating. I hope I get to visit and see the places I am reading about.

That's incredible. I was definately more impressed once I scrolled down and saw nothing underneath that rock!

That makes me want to get there. No way the wife would stand out there though, haha.
