It seems that every hotel I've been to downtown in the past has changed names at least 3 or 4 times. What are the nicer high-rise hotels that have a good view of the water, aren't in a slum, and would be a good place to stay?
My wife is heading to town with the kids for a wedding and I can't figure out where to book for them. I want them to stay somewhere nice and safe and with a great view and so forth. I also want them to be able to get to a ferry out to Bremerton fairly easily.
Thanks for any assistance.

The Edgewater Inn has always been a mainstay on the waterfront.
