Apple Hdmi help

  • Needing some help from any and all mac book pro users or apple users, so here is the problem: I bought a hdmi adapter and cord for my macbook pro so I could watch netflix on the tv we have at the house,the problem im having is how can I get the sound from the tv and not my computer?? Is there a way of doing it from the computer or do I need a special hdmi cord?Any help is much appreciated!

    How much did the adapter cost? Take it back and get an AppleTV. They're made for this.
