Apparently, it's called the "Vengeance". So we're both wrong on that one.

Ewww...I remember a scene where "Kahn" says..."Vengence will be mine..." or something like that. Corny.

I read a review that really didn't give it too high of marks. While I thought the action route was the right way to go for the reboot, now I wanted a Trek film. Apparently, we still wont get one. I'll see it, because I'm a secret geek, but kinda bummed me out.

It's better to go into trek movies with low expectations, that way you can always come out thinking it was better than expected.

For Christ's sake you expect Sci-Phy movies to have warm pleasant feelings, happy endings, strong characters?

How dumb can you get?

Go to Star Trek movies to purely be entertained. They're not into saving the worlds moderates & liberals from each other. They aren't going to worry about anything that piddling small.

Stop expecting some of these second rate actors to make another Casablanca out of that stuff.

Actually, I think Abrams picked some terrific actors for his Trek movies, especially Cumberbatch. I didn't like the Simon Pegg and John Cho picks (nobody's going to see those guys on screen and think anything but "Shaun of the Dead and the guy from White Castle!"), but I liked the rest.

But Les, Trek was once socially relevant, especially back in the 60's. A lot of fans still wish it was.

There's always Dr. Who for social relevance nowadays.
