Very true to the story of Jackie Robinson breaking the color barrier in Major League Baseball (I've read several book on the subject). Chadwick Boseman (Jackie) and Harrison Ford (Branch Rickey, Dodgers owner) are excellent. Best of all for me, the baseball scenes are totally believable and the old ballparks that are recreated look very, very real (down to the Schafer beer sign in right-center field at Ebbets Field). If you're a baseball fan or a fan of a great human interest story and have even a passing interest in one of the most important figures in 20th Century American history, I highly recommend this movie.
Harmlessly passing your time in the grassland away;
Only dimly aware of a certain unease in the air.
